The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,

July 11-15, 2022.

The Theory of Quantum Computation, Communication and Cryptography (TQC) is a leading annual international conference for students and researchers working in the theoretical aspects of quantum information science. The scientific objective is to bring together the theoretical quantum information science community to present and discuss the latest advances in the field.

Areas of interest include, but are not restricted to:

  • quantum algorithms
  • models of quantum computation
  • quantum complexity theory
  • simulation of quantum systems
  • quantum cryptography
  • quantum communication
  • quantum information theory
  • quantum estimation and measurement
  • intersection of quantum information and condensed-matter theory
  • quantum coding theory
  • fault-tolerant quantum computing
  • entanglement theory
  • quantum machine learning

We are looking forward to an in-person conference.  While co-authors of an accepted paper are expected to deliver an in-person presentation at the conference, we understand that in special cases there may be travel constraints due to COVID.  In the event that a presenter is unable to attend, the talk can be given via zoom or a similar platform. Please note, we are reserving online talks only for very special circumstances, and this must be cleared with the organizers. Inquiries can be sent to tqc.2022.conference@gmail.com.
